The Incomprehensibility of God – Omnipresence

1 Kings 8:27

“Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built!”

Reflection:

Astronomers still debate to this day whether or not the universe is limited, whether or not there is a border to creation as we know it, whether or not that border expands, contracts, or remains stable. That question alone baffles the greatest human minds. How, then, can we possibly comprehend the infinite nature of the presence of God!? He is not just over there or out in that part of space. God is. God is everywhere. You cannot blow up a planet and hurt the left pinky toe of God. God is spirit! 100% of God is still 100% everywhere! Can you wrap your arms around that thought? You cannot take hold of God to manipulate Him. You cannot wound Him. You cannot grasp Him. God is. He is marvelous beyond anything in creation. He who is omnipresent, who spreads His perfection throughout all space, is worthy of your honor and praise.

In Christ,
