Titus 3:5
“He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.”
Reflection:
The Holy Spirit has given you knew life. He has generated you again. You who were once dead in your sin, cold and unloving toward God, without any energy to move an inch to glorify God, the Holy Spirit gave you new life, warmed you with love, and gave you the energy you did not have to follow Him!
Now, you have been washed clean of the sin that dragged you into the grave and held you down like a leaden blanket. How refreshing to be clean! His work in your life is renewing – not just giving you more strength, but causing you to go from no strength to the very strength of God! Christian, rejoice today in the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit!
