1 Chronicles 16:34
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!”
Reflection:
This verse would give you plenty of reason to give thanks even if it read, “His steadfast love endures for 24 hours!” That is 24 more hours than you deserve. It would give you plenty of reason if it said, “His steadfast love endures for 24 years.” That is 24 more years than you deserve. However, because Jesus Christ has died for all of your guilt and because Jesus Christ’s perfect righteousness covers you there is no time limit placed on the goodness of God toward you.
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!”
